Let’s take a look across the globe at the Chelsea loanee’s in action over the last week.

Let’s start in the Premier League and down the road from Chelsea at Fulham, Ruben Loftus Cheek played 80 minutes in an impressive debut for the midfielder. Fellow Chelsea team-mate Ethan Ampadu who is on loan at Sheffield United did not feature for the blades in a 1-1 draw. Sheffield United look vulnerable this season so I expect Ampadu to rack up more minutes throughout the season.

Moving on and staying in the Premier League, Ross Barkley produced a last minute strike away at Leicester on Sunday securing 3 points for Aston Villa, who are now the only team in the Premier League with a 100% record. That’s 2 goals in 2 Games for Ross Barkley since joining them.

Conor Gallagher started for West Brom in his full premier league debut against Burnley as the Baggies drew 0-0. He played the full 90 minutes and impressed in his first game. He is one player we all should keep a close eye on this season, as he can be an important player for Chelsea in a season or so.

Michy Batshuayi started in their derby match against Brighton & Hove Albion where had a goal ruled out for offside as Crystal Palace drew 1-1.

Down in the Championship, only a couple of blue loanees were in action. Marc Guehi, who played 90 minutes for Swansea City in a 2-1 defeat against Huddersfield Town. The other was goalkeeper Jamal Blackman who’s Rotherham side lost 2-1 to Norwich, from a late 95th minute penalty.

Moreover now, the loanee players in League One, Accrington Stanley currently have 3 Chelsea players on loan including Nathan Baxter who was on the bench against Ipswich this weekend, Both Jon Russell and Tariq Uwakwe both played 90 minutes in a 2-0 defeat.

Other players, including new signing Sharman-Lowe (Goalkeeper) was on the bench against Bristol Rovers where Luke McCormick also played 70 minutes in a 1-1 draw against his new academy team mate.

Going overseas now, Matt Miazga played a full 90 minutes for Vincent Kompany’s Anderlecht in a 2-2 draw. Staying in the pro league, Ike Ugbo scored a brace as Cercle Brugge won 5-2 against a strong Gent side.

That’s it for this weeks loan report.
