Chelsea will face Tottenham in the Fourth Round of the Carabao Cup next Tuesday.
This was confirmed after the EFL finalised this morning that Spurs were to be granted a bye after their tie with Leyton Orient was cancelled.
Orient had a COVID-19 outbreak within their squad, rumoured to have affected seventeen first-team players. Carabao Cup rules this season dictate that a bye is to be granted if a team is unable to honour a fixture as a result of COVID-19.
Chelsea have a rich history against Tottenham in the League Cup, defeating them in the final in 2015. Chelsea also overcame Spurs in their most recent meeting in the competition in the Semi Finals in 2018.
The Fourth Round Tie will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next Tuesday, with the kickoff time still to be confirmed.
