Although it’s no surprise for us Chelsea lovers it’s still nice to talk about the fact that we have got three players that have been nominated for another award. Don’t forget to give these three your vote.
In one week, next Saturday, the season for our blue women will start. It’s not just any start we are talking about here; it’s a start at Wembley! 12:30 pm the stage is set for a clash with class when Chelsea will face Manchester City in a Community Shield battle, with the chance to pick up this season’s first silverware. The game will be broadcasted on BBC and on BBC iPlayer.
Stay tuned because AllThingsChelsea will deliver a preview, a predicted starting formation with thoughts on why and which players that should get the chance from the first whistle and a juicy match report with all the things you need to know about the game if you are not able to watch it. And even if you do watch it, we are sure that there will be parts from it that we all want to remember and want to relive. Take a look at what Sam Kerr has to say about next weekend down below:
Denise Reddy – Emma Hayes’ new assistant coach
Chelsea Women have got their new appointed assistant coach. Her name is Denise Reddy. She has been a professional football player herself, playing in Sweden for FC Rosengard for eleven years.
Reddy holds a UEFA Pro License and has previously coached in NWSL in the US, where she was at Sky Blue FC. She has also already experienced life as an assistant coach. Reddy has served Jim Gabarra at Washington Spirit. Not only has Reddy been playing football in Sweden, she also was a head coach of Linköpings FC and Vittsjö GIK, two teams in the highest women’s division in Sweden as well as head coach of B.93/HIK/Skjold in Denmark and Jersey Sky Blue of the USL W-league.
We’ll finish this weeks’s summary up with some great memories. Make sure you enjoy these screamers!
Also, make sure you are ready for next weekend!
