The All Things Chelsea Team give their score predictions for today’s Champions League Round of 16 Second Leg against Bayern at the Allianz Arena. Let us know your predictions in the comments below!
This new feature will see three of our team explain the thinking behind their predictions for the game, and let us know what they are looking out for in the game.
Chelsea start the game three goals behind on aggregate, and will require at least three goals to have any chance of reaching the Quarter Finals in Lisbon.
The Featured Three
Tom Overend (@tovers98): Bayern 2-2 Chelsea
I have a feeling that the young blue lions are going to roar tonight at the Allianz. I think, free from pressure, our younger players will score a couple of goals tonight against a very experienced Bayern defence. It will not be enough, as our defence will inevitably leak a couple themselves, but it will restore some much needed pride in Europe.
Will Reyner (@willreyner): Bayern 4-1 Chelsea
Chelsea certainly aren’t favourites going into this game and unfortunately I predict Bayern to stroll past us. I hope to see some of the younger players such as Lewis Bate get a game and hopefully one of them nicks a memorable debut goal at the Allianz Arena.
Enoch Eicher (@Thank_Lampard): Bayern 4-0 Chelsea
I don’t see Chelsea coming back from the massive deficit incurred at Stamford Bridge in March. With Christian Pulisic injured, it does not appear as though any player has the quality to breach Bayern’s defence on a regular basis. Add to that the fact that Bayern are taking it seriously, and will be pushing to put the tie to bed in quick time.
- Ben (@CarefreeCFC20): Bayern 2-0 Chelsea
- Sam Tabuteau (@tabuteauS): Bayern 3-1 Chelsea
- Iram (@IramCFC22): Bayern 2-3 Chelsea
- Jack (@IsonCFC): Bayern 3-1 Chelsea
- Ark (@ARKCFC): Bayern 4-1 Chelsea
- Konark (@CFCKonark): Bayern 1-4 Chelsea (Chelsea qualify on AWG!)
- Ameya (@LampardsLegacy): Bayern 3-0 Chelsea
Can Chelsea achieve the impossible in Munich tonight? Would it be the greatest comeback in our history? Let us know in the comments below!
