The newly promoted Norwich host Chelsea at Saturday lunchtime. Norwich come into this fixture with a very impressive win over Newcastle. A 3-1 victory and a hat-trick from their star player Pukki. Norwich have had a good start to life in the Premier League so far but they will be tested yet again when the face the Lampard’s Chelsea. The Blues still await their first win of the season. They drew to Leicester last Sunday and were quite fortunate to walk away with a point. Chelsea started off pretty well in the first half but in the second half they fell apart and I think they were fatigued due to the 120 minutes they played against Liverpool in the Super Cup. I expect a strong performance from Chelsea as they’ve had a week to prepare for this game and should be fully fit. Lampard will be desperate to get his first win but it won’t be easy as Norwich are a tough side to beat and could shock Chelsea if they are not careful.

Stats
- Norwich City are winless in their last 10 Premier League contests against Chelsea (D2 L8) since a 3-0 win at Carrow Road in December 1994 under John Deehan.
- Chelsea haven’t failed to win their opening three games to a Premier League season since 1998-99 under Gianluca Vialli. However, the Blues went on to finish third in that campaign, qualifying for the Champions League for the first time.
