Various reports have come out saying that David Luiz refused to train with the Chelsea first team and has demanded a move to Arsenal.

Luiz returned to Chelsea for a second time in 2016 from PSG, signing a 2 year contract before the start of the new season which would keep hit at the club till 2021. He could leave Chelsea on deadline day for just 8 million pounds.

Luiz started to realise that he won’t be Frank Lampards first choice and thus he decided to throw his toys out of his pram and has requested a move away from the club.

I certainly have no problem with David Luiz leaving Chelsea, but there is a way to leave a club. If he wanted to leave he should not have signed a new contract in the first place. He has disrespected a club who has done so much for him and he has treated the club in a horrible way.

With David Luiz leaving it means that players like Christensen and Zouma will be getting more game time, who could be the future of Chelsea football club. In my opinion he is a good riddance because, he is very inconsistent and is error prone. We certainly saw that last season. Even if David Luiz does not move to Arsenal he still wouldn’t be in my first team. I rather have players that want to play for the club. As many Chelsea fans thought that Tomori will be going out on loan, it certainly won’t happen as he will be Chelsea’s 4th choice CB since David Luiz is on the verge of joining Arsenal.

So I can only say one thing, if David Luiz becomes an Arsenal player I would like to thank him for him for everything he has done for the club and I want to wish him well on his new challenge.
