Some of the All Things Chelsea team have given their player of the year, loan player of the year, most improved player, goal of the season, game of the season and surprise of the season.

Let’s get into it.

James – @FtblJames_

Player of the year – EDEN HAZARD
An outstanding season from the Belgian, and if it is his last, what a way to go, with his best statistical year at the club.

Loan Player of the year – REECE JAMES
Excelled at RB, moved to CM due to Wigan’s problems in midfield. Dominated that position and was a key part of keeping them up. Oh, and he captained them in his last game. Brilliant season by a brilliant young player.

Most Improved Player – RUBEN LOFTUS-CHEEK
Started the season as a backup and ended it as the undisputed first choice LCM. Massively improved his all round game and has had some brilliant performances.

Goal of the Season – EDEN HAZARD vs Liverpool
The move was started by Hazard in the midfield, and then he did his thing. Dribbled through about three players, played a one-two, skinned two more players and fired into the corner. Outstanding.

Game of the Season – CHELSEA 2-1 Tottenham (League Cup Semi Final – 2nd Leg)
I was at the Bridge for this game. We hadn’t been playing great, we were 1-0 down from the first leg, and then we went 2-0 up going into half time. Spurs managed to take it to pens, and when we won, the atmosphere was unbelievable. What a night!

Surprise of the Season – CHELSEA 2-0 Manchester City
Everyone came into the game expecting a loss, but we put in an amazing performance and managed to get the three points. Hugely unexpected.

Reece James – @FtblJames_’s Loan POTY

Jonathan – @Frenzys

Player of the Year – EDEN HAZARD
Don’t think I have to explain this one.

Loan Player of the Year – TAMMY ABRAHAM
Banged in 25 goals to take Aston Villa to the playoffs this year at age 21.

Without a doubt for me; began the season as a depth midfielder and has now become arguably our most important midfielder having knocked in 10 goals since and physically dominating almost any player he duels with when he’s not scoring.

Goal of the Season – HAZARD penalty vs Eintracht Frankfurt.
If it’s his last at Stamford Bridge, it’ll go down as one of his most composed and remembered moments at Chelsea.

Game of the Season – CHELSEA 2-2 Manchester UTD
Without Barkley’s goal in 96′ at the death there’d be a chance we would miss out on a top 4 spot.

Surprise of the Season – KEPA ARRIZABALAGA
I’m one who didn’t have high hopes for a 23 year old keeper after offloading Courtois following his Golden Glove-winning World Cup campaign, but what a player he’s been over the course of the season. I’d be sweating trying to imagine our place in the table without him.

Eden Hazard’s winning penalty vs Eintracht Frankfurt – Jonathan’s Goal of the Season

Sam Nanopoulos – @GardenOfEden017

Player of the Year – EDEN HAZARD
As much as I wanted to be different with this one, there really is no looking past a certain Belgian maestro. His numbers are on a different level to any other blue this season as he became the fourth ever player to register 15 goals and assists in the same season. With his time at the bridge likely to be coming to an end I’d just like to say ‘Thank you Eden!’

Loan Player of the Year – MASON MOUNT
The young central midfielder has been influential in Derby’s 6th place finish in the Championship and he will be hoping to help fire them into the Premier League for next season. Although most Chelsea fans hope that next year he will be playing in blue, rather than black and white.

Most improved – CALLUM HUDSON-ODOI
After making 4 appearances last season, many people saw the potential in this young lad but few thought he would reach it so soon. He has become a regular in cup competition and even broke into the team for the league towards the end of the season. It was a shame to see his season ended early but I’m sure he will be back better next year.

Goal of the season – EDEN HAZARD vs Liverpool
Not only did he provide the assist to initiate the comeback in this game, he then went on to score a wonderful winner which started our run to the final in the Carabao Cup. However this wasn’t an easy choice because Hazard has scored so many incredible goals this year.

Game of the season – CHELSEA 3-1 BATE
Now this seems like an odd choice but let me explain. In this game, Ruben Loftus-Cheek scored a hat trick in front the home fans of Stamford Bridge. For me this was a sign of things to come from Ruben and he hasn’t disappointed so far.

Surprise of the season – CHELSEA 2-0 Man City
Going into this game I would have been over the moon with a point, let alone all three. The Cityzens hadn’t lost a game yet and they came to the Bridge on an impressive winning run. But goals from Kante and David Luiz put an end to that. Just a shame we couldn’t play as well in the reverse fixture…

Eden Hazard’s winner vs Liverpool – Sam’s Goal of the Season

Nischal – @NischalCFC

Player of the Year – EDEN HAZARD
Who else? He has stood out for Chelsea and has been our star man by far, scoring goal after goal and getting assist after assist in a spectacular season. Where would Chelsea be without the Belgian? We may well be finding out sooner than we realise. Honourable mentions: Kepa Arrizabalaga, N’Golo Kanté.

Loan Player of the Year – TAMMY ABRAHAM
The fact that Abraham has scored 26 goals in 40 appearances this season is incredible, with more goals than anyone in the current Chelsea squad. The 21-year-old has transformed into exactly what Chelsea desperately need – an established goalscoring striker. Honourable mentions: Reece James, Mason Mount.

Most Improved Player – RUBEN LOFTUS-CHEEK
Loftus-Cheek certainly had a season to remember. The Lewisham Ballack has excelled under Sarri with his passing, movement, positioning and tackling improving massively, as he continues his development into a brilliant midfielder. Honourable mentions: Ross Barkley, Emerson Palmieri.

Goal of the Season – EDEN HAZARD vs West Ham (1st goal), 8th April 2019)
The winner of this accolade was certain, but deciding which of Hazard’s 19 goals was hard. However, the technical ability and wonderful dribbling in his first goal against West Ham was sumptuous, and it really summed him up as a player – gracious. Honourable mentions: Eden Hazard vs Liverpool, 26th September 2018; Ruben Loftus-Cheek vs Fulham, 2nd December 2018.

Game of the Season – CHELSEA 2-1 (4-2 pens) Tottenham, 24th January 2019
I nearly changed my choice after the Europa League semi-final, but this was so special. Beating our arch rivals on penalties to reach a cup final was amazing, and I’ll never forget those scenes and emotions in the Matthew Harding Lower. Not only is it my game of the season, but my favourite live Chelsea game ever. Honourable mentions: Chelsea 1-1 (4-3 pens) Eintracht Frankfurt, 9th May 2019; Chelsea 2-0 Manchester City, 8th December 2018.

Surprise of the Season – ROSS BARKLEY
This was my hardest choice as I really didn’t know who to pick, but Barkley has indeed surprised me. He has been better than I expected for the majority of the season, scoring some important goals and being a valuable asset to our midfield. Honourable mentions: N’Golo Kanté, Pedro Rodríguez.

Chelsea 2-1 Tottenham (4-2 pens), Nischal’s Game of the Season

Shayan – @FinallyChels

Player of the Year – EDEN HAZARD
He has been our best player, top goal scorer for Chelsea and 15 assists, the most in the league.

Loan Player of the Year – REECE JAMES
He has been Wigan’s POTY. He should definitely get a chance at Chelsea next season

He has scored 10 goals this season and has been very impressive every time he has stepped on to the pitch.

Goal of the season – EDEN HAZARD vs West Ham
An amazing goal by the master himself. Dribbling was on point no one got near him and the finish was brilliant as well.

Game of the Season – CHELSEA 2-1 Tottenham (League Cup Semi-Final)
Chelsea going through on penalties. Atmosphere was immense. Always good to beat Spurs especially in a semi final.

Surprise of the season – CHELSEA 2-0 Manchester City
Manchester City came into this game unbeaten in the league and no one gave Chelsea a chance but Chelsea did what they do best and beat the odds.

Chelsea 2-0 Manchester City, Shayan’s Surprise of the Season

Ab – @Ampaduology

Player of the Year – EDEN HAZARD
No explanation needed.

Loan Player of the Year – REECE JAMES
Dominant, fully expected to be part of the first team next season.

He’s really grown, both physically and mentally this season and is now one of the first names on the teamsheet

Goal of the Season – EDEN HAZARD vs West Ham
This was difficult to choose since there were so many. Easily could have been any of Hazard’s goals this season.

Game of the Season – CHELSEA 2-0 Tottenham
Revenge for the defeat earlier in the season and Jenas’ reaction after the match was the icing on the cake.

Surprise of the Season – CHELSEA 2-0 City
Because we beat them and never expected a result let alone a dominant performance.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Ab’s Most Improved Player

George – @VintageDidier

Player of the Year – EDEN HAZARD
Don’t think that really needs that much explaining…

Loan Player of the Year – REECE JAMES
Being lauded as Wigan’s best ever player after a year there, speaks volumes – he is PL ready.

Most improved – RUBEN LOFTUS-CHEEK
Has truly shown his quality this season and that he deserves his place in Chelsea’s First Team. His combination of strength, agility and fearlessness is something the team have missed.

Goal of the season – HAZARD vs West Ham

Game of the season – CHELSEA 2-0 Man City

Surprise of the season – Man City 6-0 CHELSEA
Never have I seen any ground open the bar 15 minutes into a game- it was needed.

Eden Hazard’s opener vs West Ham, George’s Goal of the Season

Harvey – @HarvEaston8

Player of the Year – EDEN HAZARD

Without doubt has been our stand out performer throughout the season and has been consistently throwing high numbers into the scoring and assisting charts for many seasons now. With Hazard being linked with a move away, a solid season for Hazard was always on the cards for a good send off and with Chelsea into to the Europa League final he will without a doubt have a good end to his Chelsea career.

Loan Player of the Year– TAMMY ABRAHAM

Tammy has been scoring vital goals for Aston Villa all season and yesterday sent his loan club into the Play Off Final. A solid all round striker with great ability on and off the ball and a dominant force in the air also. Tammy has been Villa’s top scorer this season, scoring all ranges of goals. With Chelsea’s strikers not performing and strikers always going out on loan, Abraham would be feel he is very close to be getting called back. Villa are rumoured to be putting in a £25 million bid for Abraham but I’m sure Chelsea will certainly decline and bring the English forward back to the Bridge.

Most Improved – OLIVIER GIROUD

Although the French forward hasn’t been Chelsea’s starting striker for a lot of the season, he has shown in big games he is a reliable striker to give Chelsea important victories. Giroud has scored 10 goals this season alone just in the Europa League and is also the top scorer of the competition. Hopefully Giroud will get more game time next season as he’s shown he has got the ability to be a regular, certainly if Hazard stays as their link-up play this season has be fantastic.

Goal of the Season – HAZARD vs West Ham

Hazard’s solo goal that left West Ham stuttering is certainly my goal of the season. The run was sensational taking on more than 3 West Ham players from outside the box to inside, then beating Fabianski in the Hammers net.

Game of the Season– CHELSEA 1-1 Eintracht Frankfurt (CFC WIN ON PENS)

My game of the season has to be our recent Europa league performance. Although we didn’t play fantastic on the night, we stuck together as a team and kept fighting until the victory was ours. Chelsea won the game on penalties, and Kepa produced 2 fantastic saves on the night as well as in the shootout. The victory has sent Chelsea to the big Cup final in Baku against Arsenal so in my eyes it was the most important victory of the season.

Olivier Giroud – Harvey’s Most Improved Player of the Season
